Anchorage Archbishop Paul Etienne issued a decree appointing an independent commission to review all personnel files of clerics and religious men and women who have served in the archdiocese since its canonical establishment in 1966.

Youth scouting programs have a long history in the United States. The most well known are the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. But newer groups like the American Heritage Girls and Trail Life USA are on the rise in recent years.
