Eleven seniors graduated this year from Holy Rosary Academy in Anchorage, an independent Catholic school. Vice Principal Tommy Welsh, who taught the graduates students throughout junior high and high school, was impressed by the group.

Archbishop Paul Etienne has issued the following clergy assignments for parishes across the Anchorage Archdiocese. The assignments were announced at weekend Masses on May 11-12. The new assignments are effective July 1.
The new norms add that the metropolitan archbishop in a specific region will now be in charge of investigations against those bishops in dioceses near the archdiocese.
The Mass will take place just two days before the archbishop departs for his new assignment as coadjutor archbishop of Seattle.
