Incoming Anchorage Archbishop Paul Etienne flew from Wyoming and landed in Anchorage on Nov. 3 to begin preparation for his Nov. 9 installation as the new Archbishop of Anchorage.

He began his first full day in Anchorage by celebrating an 8:30 a.m. Mass with members of his staff at the Pastoral Center. On Nov. 8, a vespers prayer service will take place at Holy Family Cathedral, beginning at 7 p.m. to pray for the archbishop. On Nov. 9, at 2 p.m., he will be formally installed as the archbishop. The installation Mass will be live streamed at www.CatholicAnchor.org.
