Seattle welcomes Archbishop Etienne

SEATTLE – With his family and an estimated 1,000 people present, Archbishop Paul Etienne became coadjutor archbishop of the Archdiocese of Seattle during a June 7 Mass of Reception at St. James Cathedral.

“I pledge to love you to the best of my ability with the love of Jesus as a demonstration of my love for the Lord,” said Archbishop Etienne, who has been a priest for nearly 27 years and a bishop for 10.
