Dominican Brother Thomas More Garrett will be giving a talk in Anchorage titled “Pontifical Business: The Papacy & the Contemporary Business Professional.” The Oct. 13 presentation will take place at Holy Family Cathedral at 7 p.m.
The talk will focus on the affairs of private commercial enterprise and what recent popes have contributed to business ethics and the development of business values in the modern business environment.
Brother Garrett entered the Dominican order in 2008. He practiced law and worked as a Congressional staffer prior to entering religious life. For more information about the upcoming event, call 276-3455.
