Anchorage training to help women choose life for their unborn child

A recent study by Care Net and Lifeway revealed that four out of every 10 abortions are performed on women who are actively involved in a church. The study reveals that many of these women never share their decision with anyone at their church.

To address this issue, Anchorage’s Community Pregnancy Center is hosting a training session, “Making Life Disciples,” to equip Alaskans to offer “compassion and guidance to those making a pregnancy decision.”

The training is open to women and men, from all walks of life who will commit to participating in this study and then it take back to their home church to train others.

The six-week training session starts Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. and include a light dinner.
