Renown evangelist and speaker Deacon Harold-Burke-Sivers, will lead a four-day mission at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church March 7-10. The mission is open to those outside the parish.

Angel Abbey and is a consultation team member for the National Conference of Catholic Bishops’ National Directory for Catechesis.

On March 7, at 10 a.m. and again at 7 p.m., Deacon Burke-Sivers will speak on the depths of God’s merciful love in helping people find the forgiveness, healing and peace for which they long. On March 8, both at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., he will examine how reconciliation and the Eucharist are the fruits of God’s Divine Mercy and the source of interior transformation and conversion from sin. He will also speak about how the Holy Spirit in the sacrament of reconciliation brings the faithful closer to Christ in the Eucharist. On March 9, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., he will discuss the relationship between the sacredness of family life and the brokenness of the culture, and how the grace received in the sacraments deepens and strengthens both parents and children on their journey toward heaven.

On March 10 there will be a special youth and young adult night at 7 p.m. This presentation explore the meaning of love and how the proper formation of conscience prepares teens and young adults to make a gift of themselves in love.
